Week 19 Review: The Raven King

From Goodreads:
The fourth and final installment in the spellbinding series from the irrepressible, #1 New York Times bestselling author Maggie Stiefvater.

All her life, Blue has been warned that she will cause her true love's death. She doesn't believe in true love and never thought this would be a problem, but as her life becomes caught up in the strange and sinister world of the Raven Boys, she's not so sure anymore.

My Review:
Yeah! It was so fantastic to read this book! This series has been odd and quirky, and yeah, it was just absolutely great to see where it's been heading since the beginning! I just absolutely loved it! Such a great and wonderful book!

This book was so fantastic, and all the skills they've been learning-or we've been finding out about, at least, like Roman's dreaming, Gansey's commanding voice, Blue's amplification of magic, Adam being the eyes and ears of Cabeswater.

We were fully introduced to a character this book, one that was previously introduced, but wasn't as big as he was in this book. And that's Henry Chang, and his secrets and yeah, it was really fascinating to have another member added to Gansey's "court."

Artemis had it a bit rough. Gwenllian wants to kill him, he'd been trapped for who knows how long, and as we find out, whatever was supposed to happen with Glendover, didn't happen correctly, and he's dead. But we did learn about what he was, and a bit about his past, which was great!

What happened with Roman and Adam, that's been building for a while now, but really only caught my attention in the last book, finally comes to fruition, and they kiss! And kiss some more! So yeah, that was really sweet!

I think it was really great that we got Noah. He wasn't in this book as much as previous books, but the way he is in it, is in a big way, the whole death and circle thing, his and Gansey's death, and Gansey's second death, and that Noah was the one that told Gansey that thing about dying and living!

I would have liked to have seen more of the aftermath, after all, Gansey was recreated after his death. He's the Raven King. And then there's the stuff about the Grey Man deciding to be the king of the underground magical objects world to control it, yeah, I'd like to see some of that!

Such a fantastic book, and I can't wait to read more by Maggie Stiefvater!
