Week 16 Review: Crash

From Goodreads:
A thrilling action/suspense novel for fans of The Fifth Wave about contemporary teens pulled in and out of an alternate reality where battling aliens is more than a game—it's life and death.

Miki's life is falling apart around her. Her dad and best friend are lying in the hospital. The Game is glitching, making missions more frequent and more deadly. And someone close to her is waiting for the right moment to betray her.

Miki feels like she's hanging on by a thread and the only thing keeping her tethered is Jackson's hand in hers. Yet telling him how much she needs him, how much she loves him, feels like the biggest challenge of all. And if Miki really wants the missions to end for everyone, she'll have to let go and be ready to fight when the walls between the Game and reality come crashing down. Because if there's one thing she's learned, it's that she’s got a whole lot left to lose.

Crash is the pulse-pounding conclusion to the Game trilogy fans won't want to miss.

My Review:
This was a really excellent book! It's the one where we finally get the answers that we've been asking for book 1, and oh, boy, are they pretty spectacular! Loved reading it so much, it was such a great ending to this series that I've loved so much!

So this book is just a little bit crazy, with some back and forth with the game, and with Lizzie, and slowly finding out these answers. Oh, and with dealing with the car crash that put both her dad and Carly in the hospital. Yeah.

Things are different in this book, because yeah, it's the final one, and the gloves are coming off. Like the feelings of being watched are connected! And we find out the true purpose of the game, and the Drau, and yeah, it was kinda bittersweet, that waste!

I really enjoyed that ending, but I do have some questions. Like, did Miki have to live through that time again? And if she did, was she able to change some things? Because it wasn't quite mentioned, the ending was pretty quick!

Such a great, fantastic book, and I just loved-and this series-so much! Hope that Eve Silver writes more YA books!
