Week 21 Review: Tease

From Goodreads:
What happens when a girl who always calls the shots meets a guy who's too wild for even her?

A born flirt and good-time party girl, Emerson has never had a problem finding a willing guy. She's always chosen her hookups carefully, and she's never broken her three cardinal rules:

Never let them see the real you.
Never fall in love.
Always leave them begging for more.

Then Shaw comes along. A hottie from the wrong side of the tracks, he's immune to her flirtatious banter and come-hither smile. After rescuing her from a disastrous night at a biker bar, he doesn't even try to take her to bed—he calls her a tease and sends her home instead. Unable to resist a challenge, or forget the sexy, dark-eyed, bad-boy biker, she vows to bring him to his knees.

But instead of making Shaw beg, Emerson finds herself craving him. For the first time in her life, she's throwing out her rule book. Suddenly, she's the one panting for a guy she can't control—a guy who won't settle for anything less than the real Emerson and who forces her to do things she's never imagined, including facing a past she thought she'd buried.

A guy who just might leave her wanting more. . .

My Review:
I totally enjoyed this book! Just as fun and must-read-this as Foreplay, we get to see inside of Emerson, who we didn't know before because what knew about her in Foreplay? Just a shell that she put out, that wasn't really her. But this book, and her, to totally misuse what I meant of shell, became a butterfly in this book!

These were really great characters, and with the hints that come to make a full picture of Emerson's most defining moment of her childhood (15 is still a childhood, even if you're not a child but a teenager) where something could've happened-and her mom didn't believe her. That was what made it the worse for Emerson, her mom believe the word of the would-be culprit instead of her own daughter.

I felt pretty bad for Shaw, because while he was the one that convinced his cousin to join up with him, that doesn't make it his fault that his cousin died. And how his family basically rejects him because of that, leaving him alone-his mom's just remarried and moved, and his grandpa just died, and yeah, Emerson is a game changer person.

We got to see everyone again, and while I'm sad for Georgia, who is going to be the FMC of Wild's, break up, well, the relationship she was in was, well, boring, and not good for her, and it wasn't that she was boring, but that together, there wasn't anything new, and that wasn't her fault, it was time's. Or it could've been his fault. I guess we'll learn more in her book!

There were a few things that I wished to happen, for Emerson's mom to admit to her mistake, for Shaw's family to accept that it wasn't his fault, and for them to meet his mom, because I think that would've been nice, but hopefully one of them at least might happen in Wild!!

I really loved this book, love this series, and yeah, can't wait for Wild!
